I provide you with an app to download to your phone which will have your own personal program, schedule and nutritional advice and menu suggestions to help you reach your goals. My coaching focuses on sustainable methods that prioritise joint health and reduce injury risk — using controlled movements, full range of motion, and time under tension to build strength and lean muscle without relying on excessive heavy lifting.

My programmes are designed with longevity in mind, helping you stay strong, capable, and active for years to come. At 57, I firmly believe age isn’t an obstacle — it’s an opportunity.

I specialise in personalised plans for individuals over 40, with both in-person and online coaching available so you can train in the way that suits you best — whether that’s in the gym or at home.

To support your training, I also provide tailored nutrition guidance aligned with your goals. Together we focus on building lean muscle, reducing body fat, improving energy levels, and helping you feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in everyday life.

Hi, I’m Carl Walters, a Personal Trainer, I have studied numerous courses in addition including Strength and Conditioning and also a coach certification in Diet and Nutrition and coach certification in Weight Loss. I help people — especially those over 40 — get fitter, stronger, and more confident without extreme workouts or fitness fads to take control of their health, fitness, and confidence through smart, sustainable training.

This isn’t just professional for me — it’s personal.

Fitness has been part of my life for decades, not just in the gym, but through real sport and real performance.

Like many people in later life, I experienced weight gain and was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. For a time, I found myself overweight, low on energy, and facing the very real health challenges that so many people struggle with.

Instead of accepting decline as inevitable, I applied what I knew about training, nutrition, and lifestyle change — and I turned it around.

Today, I’m a healthier, slimmer, fitter version of myself, actively competing in triathlons, with my Type 2 diabetes well controlled through fitness training and diet.
